Michael x 2

NIKITA: There's a *bit* of nostalgia wrapped up in this one... I remember the Christmas this came out and so it makes me think of that (87, I think). Though that doesn't really mean anything other than that I've liked it a long time! LOVE the synth-heavy middle-8. I can see it being laboriously picked out on the keyboard every time I listen.

HOLDING ON FOR YOU: She's a bit modern-anonymously-warbly, but I just like the song. I can't give a more detailed explanation than that! (Oh - love "We are only human - let's face it"!)
